MEET OUR ACUPUNCTURE AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE SPECIALISTS

Greg Zimmerman, L.Ac. is a professional practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine licensed with the California State Board. He graduated from South Baylo University of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1997 with honors.
In private practice for over 10 years, Dr. Zimmerman has successfully treated numerous people with a large variety of disorders. In addition, he has been a well respected Acupuncture teacher and clinical supervisor at South Baylo University of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the Southern California University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Zimmerman’s impressive experience in Chinese Medicine includes him being a consultant at Sun Ten Labs, Brion Herbs Corp, and the Oriental Healing Arts Institute (OHAI) for the past 10 years. His extensive knowledge about herbs is sought out by other practicing Doctors so they may understand and utilize Traditional Chinese herbal formulas within their own patient care. He is also a contributor to many nationally renowned Chinese medicine journals and books.

Dr. Zimmerman also has specialized training in low level laser based meridian and point therapy, he is certified in Traditional Chinese Orthopedics, and has provided over 15,000 hands on treatment as a physiotherapist utilizing traditional Chinese tuina technique. He is also an accomplished martial artist and has extensively studied with

Szu-Ying (Stacy) Chiang, L.Ac. grew up in an environment where Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine were widely used and integrated with modern western medicine. Additionally, she has a lot of personal experience with Chinese medicine healthcare since her youth, both receiving treatment from and observing many famous acupuncturists in Taiwan.
Dr. Chiang received her BS in Biology from National Cheng-Kung University, one of the most prestigious universities in Taiwan, and thereafter came to the U.S. to study Genetics at a graduate level at the University of California, Irvine. She then decided to pursue her life-long interests of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received her Master’s Degree from South Baylo University of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
During her school years, she worked in a busy acupuncture clinic/herbal pharmacy, where she received special training in acupuncture, acupressure, tui-na massage, herbology, scalp acupuncture and post-stroke rehab.
Dr. Chiang is also a Mei-ZenTM cosmetic facial acupuncture trained practitioner and specializes in using traditional Chinese medicine to promote beauty, health and body balance. Cosmetic facial acupuncture is very commonly used in Asia for anti-aging and is more recently being used in the United States as a more natural alternative to Botox and other cosmetic drugs.
Dr. Chiang has worked closely with herbalists at Brion Herbs Corp, a major distributor of traditional Chinese herbs, and within the Chiropractic community doing soft tissue therapy. This has allowed her to create a unique, personalized treatment plan that addresses the individual needs of her patients.
